Readiness and budget: what it costs, how fast, how many people
The same twelve typhoon road-cut scenarios, run once for each of four readiness levels: how the roads are repaired (the proven-optimal schedule), how people get out, and what it costs (every unit price sourced). The conclusion can go straight into a budget request.
- Twelve simulated road-cut scenarios
- Unit prices and cost model as on the roads page
- Assumes everyone cut off is evacuated
- Machines assumed on call at the command post when the call comes
Target: everyone cut off out within
and every critical, dialysis and powered-equipment patient out before their deadline. A level meets the target only if it does so in every scenario.
Computing: 0 / 48
- Each scenario: roads repaired in the proven-optimal order (the roads page's solver); evacuation by deadline over three channels; cost from the roads page's line-item model, army support listed apart and not counted.
- Event cost covers only this event's call-outs. Standing contracts cost nothing until called; upkeep, training and standby in normal times are not counted here.
- All figures are simulation results for comparing readiness levels, not a forecast of any typhoon.
